Stampin! with Jaydee

Happy Wednesday.

I got to play along with the new Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge today.  It was the perfect sketch to ink up a brand new set from Pinkfresh Studios called Birthday Balloons.  This set is part of an upcoming class this weekend.  When I first saw it I was a bet meh about it - but, I've already made multiple cards with it and am loving it.

Here's the sketch from Atlantic Hearts:

The sketch called for a vertical element, so I used a piece of DSP from my stash.  I tried to match the tone of the paper when I colored two of the balloons.  For a little interest, I colored the third balloon with hydrangea ink.  The sentiment is from another set that is part of our class called Hope You Are Smiling. 

Here's my take on the sketch:

I wanted to add a little interest to the card base.  I used pink ink blended in the right hand lower corner and hydrangea in the top left.  That helps to take the colors from the balloon to the base of the card.
