Happy Friday - again!

I managed to get some time in my craft room today and played along with a color challenge from Color Throwdown.  I just loved these bright colors, especially on a dull day!  I brought out my Waffle Flower Postal Collage Spring Breeze and used 3 of the stamps from the stencil set.

For my second card, I turned the card onto the horizontal and didn't use my star stencil in the background - I just left the background blank.

For my first card, I used the same colors I had used for the butterflies on the star stencil.  It helps to anchor the butterflies.

Here's my second card.  Instead of the background, I used my white gel pen to add little white dots all over the butterflies and kept the teal a little more muted in color.

I know the design team at Color Throwdown would love it if you played along with their challenge!  As for me, I will be back again tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight
