To the Moon and Back Atlantic Hearts Sketch #622

Cozy Cup for Paper Players #730

Happy Sunday.

It's the fabulous Ann's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's sketch week.  Ann's sketch inspired me to bring out one of my favorite all time stamp sets.  It's been with me for years and has survived my 2x yearly purge of crafting goodies.

I love using the Cozy Cup set from The Greetery - it's perfect for any time of the year and was just perfect for Ann's sketch.  Here's a sneak peek:

Ah... and yes, it's pink!!!!   And here is Ann's sketch

I stamped and die-cut the coffee cup and used some retired DSP to add interest behind the focal layer.  All that was left to do was stamp the sentiment around the coffee cup and add the main sentiment.  The focal layer is popped up with extra card stock for a little added dimension, as is the coffee cup.  To even up the pink on the left, I used my favorite Knit Wits stencil (also from The Greetery) and added some little hearts underneath the cup.

As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you.  I hope you will pop along to their sites and check out their creations - and then come and play with our challenge.  We would love to see what YOU create with Ann's sketch.

On a personal note:

Well, from the 75 degrees to 6 inches of snow, we have now dropped back into the 30s and it's been raining.  Definitely spring in Minnesota :-)

The ground was defrosted just enough for us to get a feeder pole and some seed and suet feeders up in the back yard.  So, we have been blessed with a few feathered visitors this week.  This morning I opened the bedroom curtains and gave these guys a scare!

It's amazing how well they blend into their background at this time of the year.  Mind you, the same view looked very different a couple of days ago!

I just love those snow storms when you see the snow fall and settle on the branches of the trees.  It was incredibly magical.  Didn't last long, as you can see from the photo of the deer - but it was beautiful while it lasted!

I've spent some time in my craft room this week sorting through things, changing up my stamp storage and even making some cards for my design team commitments.   Mr Charlie loves to sit there soaking up the sun in his hammock window seat.  No sun today, but he's here with me anyway.   When it's sun he gets so warm and cozy and stretches out and just absorbs all that sun!

Look at that contented little face!

Today, I am hoping to finish off sorting out my crafting goodies and may even get to play along with some challenges this week.  So hopefully, I will have some cards to share with you this week.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
