Stampin! with Jaydee

Happy Friday.

It's another INSPO list challenge across at Festive Friday this week and we are celebrating one of my favorite days.  The INSPO list inspired me to bring out a piece of old speciality card stock - one I swear I have had for over a decade and pair it with a couple of items from Waffle Flower called Simple Bookcase, Catitude dies and Catalog stamps.

Oh... you might have noticed a little black and white cat... well, that's based on our old man Charlie.  He's nearly 17 and still causes chaos in the house - so a rendition of him pushing over books on the shelf is not out of the question!

Here's our INSPO list for this week and as a reminder, you don't need to follow the theme, all you need to do is include at least 3 items from our INSPO list onto your project.

For my project I die cut the Open Shelves with a very old piece of wood speciality card stock.  I really is a very, very thin wedge of wood.  I love the texture of it and hadn't really found a great use for it before - well, it was perfect for a bookshelf!  I then die-cut the individual items from the Catalog and Cat-i-tude dies and colored and stamped them.  The black and white cat does represent our old man Charlie, but the other one at the bottom of the shelf represents Smudgie.  So, we have two bi-colors.  The one in the middle is a representation of our 20 pound lump of love Maine Coon called Chilli.

I arranged all of the items and stamped a sentiment inside the little door and adhered everything down.  Here's my full card:

Don't you just love some of the names of the books?  Oh... and the little mouse trying to hide from Smudgie!  I had such fun creating this card.
