Seashells in a Cloche for Addicted to CAS #281

Happy Saturday.

It's the fabulous Nancy's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge and she has a fun code word for us.  Now, when I saw this I was digging around in my supplies looking for a star shaped die and then decided to go in a different direction.

I used a set of dies called Seashells from Waffle Flower nad paired it with a set I got from the Create and Connect that Pinkfresh Studio ran in February called Butterflies in a Cloche.  I didn't use the butterflies, but I did use the cloche.

Here's a sneak peek:

And here is Nancy's code word:

I used the matching Cloche stencils to create the background blending the blue of the sea with the sand.  I added some dots and splatters to the sand area and then focused on the starfish.  I die-cut them from watercolor paper and used my pastel watercolor paints to add the color.  I did the same with the smaller seashells.  All I had to do was die-cut the stenciled cloche and then adhere it to the card base.  I popped up and adhered the starfish and seashells and added a sentiment from Waffle Flower.

Here's my card:

We would love to see YOUR take on Nancy's code word and hope that you will join us and play along.

I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
