Stampin! with Jaydee

Happy Friday.

It's another INSPO list challenge across at FestiveFriday this week and we are celebrating Father's Day.  However, as my Father has been gone from this earth for 4 decades, I decided to make a birthday card instead!  All perfectly OK for the INSPO list challenge.  As always, we ask you to include 3 items from the INSPO list on your creation, but you do not have to follow our theme/festive occasion.

For my card I used the Sweet Cupcake die from Waffle flower to create my oversized cupcake and the Sweet Birthday sentiments.  Here's a sneak peek:

I began by die-cutting the cupcake and then using the matching stencils to add color and texture to the cupcake and the holder.  I created some texture in the background with the Taylored Expressions confetti stencil and used the same blue as my focal element to tie the two areas together.

I popped up the cupcake and added the sentiment, as well as some hand drawn sprinkles on the cupcake and on the frosting.
