Stampin! with Jaydee

Happy Friday.

It's another INSPO list challenge across at Festive Friday this week and I had such fun making this card for a cousin I haven't seen in decades who is always going on about the fact he's two months younger than me!  I used the Cheerful Kitten set from Spellbinders, and a background stencil from Waffle Flowerfrom to create the outside.

And here is our INSPO list for this week.  As a reminder - it isn't required that your creation fit the holiday theme we are celebrating, you just need to include at least 3 things from our INSPO list into your card.

I began by creating the background for my focal point.  I used two shades of grey ink with the stencil to give a little depth to the paw prints.  I die-cut the pieces of the cat and heat embossed the sentiment in white.  I put all the pieces together and then mounted that to the background.  Then I used several layers of cardstock to add some depth and separate it from the base.
