Happy Sunday - again! I have a quick post for you today featuring the Waffle Flower Winter Leaves sencil and Hot Foil dies. I saw this great challenge across at Just Us Girls. The challenge calls for us to use stencils. So my entire card - except for the frame was creataed from stencils. I just love the leaves and berries in the Winter Leaves set. Here's a sneak peek: I used four different colors of green for the laves and added a touch of dark blue for more depth, cleaning my stencil between each application. For the berries I... Read more →
Happy Sunday. It's my turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and, because it is the 5th Sunday in the month, it's Tic Tac Toe week. Happy Friday. I saw a fabulous theme across at TGIF this week and was inspired to break out a new set to me called Birthday Bliss from Spellbinders. It's normally not a set I would have bought, but it came in the crafty box from Jennifer McGuire and I decided it was a fun set. I was inspired by the colors from the inspiration photo at TGIF and the idea of a summer with a light wind, flying a kite and having some good old fashioned kid fun! Here's a sneak peek of my card: And here is the inspiration... Read more →
Happy Wednesday. I have a quick card for you today made for the AAA Birthday challenge. I was inspired to ink up my new Waffle Flower Postal Collage Coastal Stencil in some bright colors. Here's a sneak peek: And here's the challenge from AAA - NO STAMPING! Well, as no stamping was allowed I knew that I had to get out one of my stencil sets and the new Postal Collage Coastal seemed perfect. I colored the images in bright colors and then added some subsentiment strips for the sentiment - again no stamping required. Here's my card: Isn't that... Read more →
