Happy Saturday! Firstly, Happy New Year! Secondly, I have a card for you tonight made using the Botanicuts Ginkgo die from The Greetery. It's also one of the few cards that I make that doesn't have white card stock anywhere! I know. Shocker! :-) I was inspired to make this card by the new sketch across at Atlantic Hearts. I die-cut and colored the ginkgo leaves and die-cut thee rectangle elements to fit the sketch. This card will be another one of the cards that I send off to the seniors. I decided to make a card inspired the the wonderful Laura Bassen's lesson where she used a co-ordinating die to create a shaker card and I combined that with her other lesson - using... Read more →

I don't know what it is.... something in my little brain, for sure! I rarely use squares on a card and, when I do, it's generally as a result of a challenge. Well, that's what challenges are all about - taking us outside of our comfort zone. I... Read more →
