Hi Everyone. Happy Monday. Sorry about the ear worm :-) 10 green bottles hanging on a wall... or in my case 5 pink bottles sitting on a card :-) As you have probably guessed, I have another non-floral card for you tonight! This one is for one of the final classes I had to do for the Altenew Educator Certification Program - called 'Tis the Season. I decided to make a card inspired the the wonderful Laura Bassen's lesson where she used a co-ordinating die to create a shaker card and I combined that with her other lesson - using... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. I hope you are all having a great weekend. It's the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a sketch for us: I wasn't sure where to go with this sketch and it's all because I have a thing about squares.... I don't know what it is.... something in my little brain, for sure! I rarely use squares on a card and, when I do, it's generally as a result of a challenge. Hi Everyone. This is a very quick post. I created a card to send to Colleen and her hubby to celebrate their 47th anniversary! This is such a wonderful milestone and I know that you will all be sending them good wishes. As Colleen spends so much love and time creating and maintaining her wonderful garden, I thought this new kit was the perfect choice to create a card. I used the "Congrats" from the wooden elements from the new Natural Expressions Elements. I thought they fit so well with this kit as the kit has balsawood layering elements. Colleen,... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday. I am so glad that we are past the "hump" of the week and are on our way to the weekend :-) I seem to be a little obsessed with shaker cards this week and was inspired to create a valentine's themed one when I saw the challenge across at Just Us Girls - and the great color scheme and inspiration photograph at Card Concept seemed to be a perfect match for my inspiration. I started by die cutting the L O V E letters in #110 white card stock. On reflection, I wish I had... Read more →
