Happy Saturday. It's another CAS challenge at Addicted to CAS this week and our fabulous hostess Sue chose one layer as her code word for this week. This gave me the opportunity to ink up one of my favorite stamps from The Greetery called Sketchbook Roses. What I love about this set is that you can go to town coloring it, or do what I did for this card, and keep it really simple:-) Here's a sneak peek: Here's Sue's code word: To keep the clean and simple vibe going I kept with a very mellow, monochromatic color scheme. Happy Wednesday As I was playing in my craft area yesterday, I went looking for a little inspiration from design challenges. I happened upon the CASE the designer challenge across at Global Design Project. As soon as I saw the challenge I knew I wanted to ink up the panda stamp from Wild and Sweet. I get to use a brand new set that I bought from SU called Inked & Tiled. Here's a sneak peek: Such a pretty color combo - I'm so glad that Color Throwdown inspired me. Here are the challenge badges: I... Read more →
Happy Sunday! It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's Clean and Simple week. I used three sets of dies - Paper Goods, Crafty Hands and Tools of the Trade. Here's a little sneak peek :-) Here's LeAnne's challenge: Tbe Tools of the Trade die set contains many of the images that LeAnne called out in her challenge, but I decided to go with scissors as there... Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Anne Marie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's sketch week. I loved this sketch and it took me a while to decide what I wanted to do with t. In the end, I decided to make a friendship card using a die I received free as part of an order from My Favorite Things. It's a hinged heart and was the perfect way to incorporate a sentiment on the front and a place to add a personal message on the inside. I also got to use some SU paper I... Read more →
