Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Claire's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's theme week! Now, I cannot believe but I didn't have a stamp that tied directly to the theme. How can that be? How can I have all these stamps and not have a sentiment that fits the theme?!!!! Luckily, I found one that worked in a new set that I received from some stmaps I bought on saale from MFT. The set is called the Whlole Herd and it has a punny/funny sentiment that works. This card forced me to do something I... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Friday. I am sad to say that this is my last turn as guest designer at Just Us Girls. I have had such a fun time with this wonderfully talented group of ladies and want to thank all of them for having me play along. I was glad that this was a 5 week month, as it gave me one extra week to play along :-) Here's the great challenge for tonight I used one of my Altenew sets to stamp the flowers. Hi Everyone, just a quick post today. I wanted to share a card with you and also talk about out what was a very eventful day for Lou and I yesterday. Firstly, TagYoureIt had a great challenge this week. I was drawn to the idea of the branch - and the colors - but went in a different direction for the sentiment. I wanted to join in the Kindness Challenge across at Jennifer McGuire's blog and create a card for a child. So, this card will be going in the next batch to Cards for Hospitalized Kids. I die cut... Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday. I loved the sketch across at As You See It so much that I decided to make another card using it. This is another card that is going into our card drive. As a reminder - here's the sketch: I began by stamping this delightful image from Penny Black's "Sunny Days" onto Watercolor paper. I then used my watercolor pens to color in the image and cut around the boat and the kitty. For the background I used Stampin' Up!'s Sanded background stamp to create something that resembled water splashes using Night of Navy ink. When... Read more →
