Happy Saturday. It's the fabulous Vicki's turn to host our AddictedtoCAS challenge this week and she has a code word that is just up my alley! I inked up an old Penny Black stamp. This stamp is part of a Christmas set called Joyful Holiday. But, I just felt that this was appropriate with a different sentiment. After all, the deer is carrying an envelope - so how appropriate is the sentiment - Just a Note! :-) I kept it very clean and simple and focused on coloring the deer and left everything around it white! here's my card: It... Happy Saturday. It's the fabulous Ceal's turn to host our AddictedtoCAS challenge this week and she has a very appropriate code word for us - especially as it's been snowing here for the last 36 hours! For my card, I pulled out an old Gerda Steiner stamp called Happy Snowman. I just love this little guy and he is such fun to color. I used Copic markers and prismacolor pencils to color him. I paired the image with the Postal Frames die from The Greetery. You can't tell me that this little guy doesn't make you smile! :-) I hope... Read more →

Happy Saturday! I'm excited to announce that today marks the return of the Addicted to CAS challenges after a short break last year. Today's challenge is from the fabulous Barb and this is the word that she has chosen. I die-cut the outline of the large sentiment from The Greetery Opposites Attract stamp set three times and added those behind the original embossed and die-cut sentiment. I wanted the large sentiment to pop... Read more →

Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Anne Marie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a great Tic Tac Toe board for us. For my choices I went horizontal on the top line - Patterned Paper, Die Cut and Embossing. For my card I used some of my new favorite goodies from The Greetery: Signed & Sealed with a Kiss, Signed & Sealed and the Shiplap dies. Oh... I LOVE those dies! I created my own patterned paper by blending oranges and browns together on a piece of Vanilla card stock and then die cutting them.... Read more →

Happy Thursday! Today is the first day of our long weekend. I don't go back to work until Wednesday! So, I got some time to play along with a couple of challenges. The first features one of my favorite old Stampin' Up! sets called Hey, Chick. It's Sale-a-Bration set from 2017 and is one of those sets that I will always keep. I just love it! When I saw the sketch across at AAA - and the optional theme, I tried to mimic a film roll, although, it really is a polaroid strip! So, I didn't quite accomplish the optional... Read more →
