Happy Easter! This is my second post today. You can find my Paper Players card here. Today has been one of the very few days in months that I got to play in my craft room just for the fun of it. It's a beautiful sunny day and I was inspired by the unique sketch across at Freshly Made Sketches. I have a die that I bought a couple of months ago from The Greetery called Morning Glory and it is part of their Botanicuts family. I used a stencil - also from The Greetery to create the four boxes... Read more →
Happy Sunday It's the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's color week! Joanne chose colors that I don't use often - although..... I have certainly made multiple cards using these shades in the last two weeks! I think I must be really craving spring :-) I was REALLY tempted to go with flowers, but decided to ink up a die I bought a couple of months ago on sale at My Favorite Things. Here's a sneak peek of my non-floral card: I think some of you might remember the old rotary phones :-)... Read more →
Happy Saturday. It's the fabulous Toni's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and it's a word that many of us in the colder parts of the northern hemisphere will be looking forward to getting into soon :-) I had so many ideas for this particular code word. Here's a sneak peek: Here's Toni's code word: I stamped and die-cut the flowers and gathered them into a little bunch. I needed to anchor them onto the... Read more →
Happy Saturday. It's the fabulous Vicki's turn to host our AddictedtoCAS challenge this week and she has a code word that is just up my alley! I inked up an old Penny Black stamp. This stamp is part of a Christmas set called Joyful Holiday. But, I just felt that this was appropriate with a different sentiment. After all, the deer is carrying an envelope - so how appropriate is the sentiment - Just a Note! :-) I kept it very clean and simple and focused on coloring the deer and left everything around it white! here's my card: It... Happy Saturday. It's the fabulous Ceal's turn to host our AddictedtoCAS challenge this week and she has a very appropriate code word for us - especially as it's been snowing here for the last 36 hours! For my card, I pulled out an old Gerda Steiner stamp called Happy Snowman. I just love this little guy and he is such fun to color. I used Copic markers and prismacolor pencils to color him. I paired the image with the Postal Frames die from The Greetery. You can't tell me that this little guy doesn't make you smile! :-) I hope... Read more →
