Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Claire's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a color challenge for us: When I saw this color combo I immediately thought of a masculine type card and, as I needed some boy cards for the 2015 Cards for a Cause card drive, I decided this was the perfect color choices. However, I had to find a stamp set that would work. Mmmm.... I had to have a long hard think about what set I would use - especially as I don't have that many boy type sets.... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday and Happy Independence Day for my fellow American readers! It's my turn to host the Addicted to CAS challenge this week and I decided to go with a patriotic theme. Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. It's the fabulously talented Sandy's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a color challenge for us. I love this color combo. The pop of red is unexpected and really lifts the blues. When I looked at the colors, they really felt masculine to me, so I decided that I would create a more masculine card. I started by inking the "fine Feathers" images with a mixture of the two blues onto Whisper White and then fussy cutting the feathers. I decided to confine the warmer color to just a touch!...
