Happy Wednesday. I have a quick and simple card for you today and it's one that features the very pretty paper from the Irresistible Blooms suite. The sketch across at Sunday Stamps seemed perfect for showcasing some gorgeous DSP. Here's a sneak peek of my card: And here's the sketch across at Sunday Stamps: This card came together really quickly. All I did was cut a piece of DSP to 5.5 inches by 4.25 and then run it through my die-cut machine with one of my rectangle dies. That particular die takes just enough off to leave a small border.... Happy Sunday. An oldie, but a goodie for today's LeAnne's theme challenge for the Paper Player's this week. I don't get to use this set often and, when I do, always wonder why I don't use it more often! I paired the retired High Tide set with the Twisted Rope embossing folder. Here's a sneak peek: Of course, because it is coming up to 4th of July, I absolutely had to use red, white and blue as my main colors! Happy Tuesday. Where did Monday go? I don't know but the days seem to be going by very fast these days! Anyway, this is the last of the card idea posts for using Earthen Textures from Stampin' Up! As I've said before, Pebbled Path is one of my favorite new colors and I love it with Copper Clay. Here's a sneak peek of today's... Read more →

Happy Wednesday. Quick post for you today. Here's card number 8 I made with the Stampin' Up! Earthen Textures set. Here's a sneak peek: This card was meant to highlight the DSP and I went with the grey colors for this card. As the paper has so much pattern, I wanted to make sure that the focal point was clean and simple. I added a white mat below the Pebbled Path to create an additional barrier between the busy DSP and... Read more →

Happy Tuesday. Yeah... I know... the heading of the card countdown went from day 5 to day 7, but day 6 was actually my Paper Players card that you can see here. :-) Today I focused on one of the stamps and two colors that I think work beautifully together - Pretty Peacock and Wild Wheat. For today's card kept the colors to a minimum and just the single die-cut. Here's a sneak peek: I stamped the wheat onto the Wild Wheat base and then onto a piece of Pretty Peacock. I die-cut the Pretty Peacock piece and added that... Read more →
