Happy Thursday. I have another quick post for you today. In my quest to make at least 10 cards with each of my stamp sets we are in to day 5 of Earthen Treasures. I thought you might all be tired of the palm leaf from the set, so it was time to make a change. today's card is Jaydee Clean and Simple and focuses primarily on one of the stamps from the Earthen Textures set. So, for today's card the DSP takes a back seat as I used it only when I die cut the leaves from the matching... Read more →

Happy Wednesday. I have a quick post for you today featuring one of the 10 or so cards I made using Stampin' Up!s Earthen Textures stamp set and Earthen Elegance DSP. Today's card takes me back to the 7os. Remember all that brown and gold? Yep? Happy Tuesday I have another card made using Stamapin' Up!'s Earthen Textures. This is day 3 of the results of me forcing myself to make at least 10 cards with a specific stamp set - and, if possible, matching DSP. I was inspired by the DSP and the card came together based on that. I used... Read more →

Happy Friday. I have something different planned over the next couple of weeks! On the last couple of days of my extended vacation I looked at my supplies and started beratiing myself that I don't use them enough. Some of them I buy because I love them and then only end up making a couple of cards with them. So, as retirement is on the horizon and money will be tighter, I decided things had to change :-) So, I set myself a challenge to sit down and make at least 10 cards each of my sets before I put... Happy Friday. Yesterday I needed a break from genealogy research and I could hear my crafting goodies calling my name! As I am not crafting much these days I needed some inspiration and I found it across at Atlantic Hearts for their sketch and The Card Concept for the colors. The sketch at Atlantic Hearts inspired me to use my favorite new die-cut from The Greetery called Round About Winter. You can see the last card I made with this set here. It's very different to today's card! Here are the sketch and inspiration challenges: I love this sketch and... Read more →
