Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Anne Marie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and the challenge also fits with the Festive Friday challenge #84 When I was creating my card I realized that I had nothing that had polka dots on it. So, I had to get creative! I went thru my stack of goodies and found an old Simon Says Stamp snowflake stencil that I used to create a polka dot base behind my floral. For the Festive Friday challenge I went with flowers, green and die-cut. I die-cut and colored the tulips first. I sponged... Read more →

Happy Friday. One of the other suites that was first on my list from the new 2020/2021 Stampin' Up! catalog is the Peony Garden Suite. It comprises the Prized Peony stamp set, Peony Garden DSP, Peony Dies, Dainty Diamonds embossing folder, shimmer ribbon, elegant faceted gems and square vellum doilies. I needed to make a card for a colleague who is going through a pretty tough time right now. She's a very elegant lady and I thought this suite would be perfect for a card for her. I found the perfect sketch across at AtlanticHeartsSketches. I kept it fairly clean... Read more →

The temp is 78 degrees, the humidity is low. The grass is almost fully green and all the tree are sprouting leaves. It sure is gorgeous. These are the... Read more →
