Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday. Well, I promised to share with you some cards made with the Simon Says Stamp October card kit. As I said, I made over 10 cards with this kit on Saturday and then made another one last night. I had made all the other cards for our next card drive, but was inspired to create this one when I saw the new Kindness challenge across at Jennifer McGuire's new blog. Now... I've been stamping and crafting for 10 years, but only recently found Jennifer's talents - how I missed them I am not sure... but I... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Thursday. This is a very quick post tonight... but I wanted to share a masculine Valentine's card with you tonight - as a counterpoint to my feminine Valentine's card from this post. I am so glad that we are past the "hump" of the week and are on our way to the weekend :-) I seem to be a little obsessed with shaker cards this week and was inspired to create a valentine's themed one when I saw the challenge across at Just Us Girls - and the great color scheme and inspiration photograph at Card Concept seemed to be a perfect match for my inspiration. I started by die cutting the L O V E letters in #110 white card stock. On reflection, I wish I had... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday. I am so pleased that we are past the mid-way point in the week and on our way to the weekend :-) One of the challenges I played along with this week is this sketch from Case this Sketch and combined found another great technique challenge that provided me with the idea that I needed. CAS on Sunday is having a technique challenge - use a stencil! I was really drawn to the vertical design on the one side of the sketch and had the perfect stencil to create it. I used two shades of pink... Read more →
